Florida visit for Aunt Tracy & the boys!

Aunt Tracy, William and Paulie came to Florida for the week. They kept busy & we joined in for some of the fun. We met up at an Easter Egg hunt, went to a yummy German restaurant (Aunt Tracy's favorite EVER), went boating/had a picnic, and hit the zoo in West Palm Beach, which was Abby's favorite. This is where I got "camera happy", particularly at the splash area, as you will see below! I don't know who had more fun running around in the fountain, Abby or daddy?

It was a fast & furious week, but it was so nice to see Tracy & the boys. Abby had a lot of fun playing with little Paulie. The two of them really hit it off and it was cute to see!

Cousin Jake's First Birthday!

Uncle Danny came down for a long weekend and spoiled Abby with love and attention :) We buzzed over to Tampa for Jake's 1st birthday party. We couldn't miss him smashing cake into his face; he did not disappoint :)

The next day, Aunt Barb hosted an Easter brunch after church. We all had such a nice time, especially Abby who was all smiles, and enjoyed all the family time!!

Broward mommies play-date!

Since Broward County Schools are on Spring Break this week, some of us school psychologist friends got our kids together for a play-date. It was so much fun! I wish I had taken more pictures; if I get more from others I will add them. A shout of thanks to Jennifer ("Tia") for hosting this time around!

Swimming in the bath!

Here is a picture of Abby "swimming" in mommy and daddy's "big bathtub". The last few nights, she has gotten on her stomach and started kicking her legs, pretending to swim and saying something along the lines of, "Abby swimming" or "Abby kicking the water". I was thrilled to see her initiate this, as we are planning to start swimming lessons soon!

Palm Sunday

Here are some pictures from church on Palm Sunday. Prior to the Easter Egg Hunt that was held afterward, Abby was enthralled by the water fountain in the courtyard. You can see from the shots below, she inched closer & closer, and truly would have gone right in, if it weren't for mommy & Grandma Sue's vigilance!!






The look on Abby's face when she opened up the first egg was priceless. It was as though she had just witnessed a miracle; her expression became one of pure awe. You see..... Abby LOVES M&M's, especially blue ones, which she refers to as "little blue candy". Well....what are the odds that the first egg she cracked open had a single blue M&M inside? I think the whole Easter Egg Hunt concept settled in quickly after this great find!

Abby's little beau Carter is featured again below. For the record, Carter is on the list of approved boyfriends for Abby :) He is SO cute & sweet!






Lastly, we discovered Abby likes black jelly beans. Thus, the black "beard" on her face! Brooke (Carter's momma) says that black jelly beans will always remind her of Abby :)

Church-goers

Our friends Brooke & Jeff (parents to Carter) have been a good influence on us.... We have been to church two weeks in a row! It is so nice to have friends to meet up with there, and we hope to continue. This picture was taken after Carter's baptism.
