Cousin Katie's Baby Shower

We just got back from Tampa. My mom, grandma, Abby and I went over for a quick visit so we could go to my cousin Katie's baby shower. She is having "baby girl Brinson" somewhere around September 3rd.

Katie with Abby. Katie is such a beautiful pregnant person, isn't she!?

Abby greeting sweet Jake, my cousin Amy's little boy.

I often jokingly say that Abby loves an audience. Well- I am no longer joking! The tables were in a U shape at the shower, as you can see below. Over and over, Abby wandered aimlessly in the middle of the tables smiling at people while everyone ate lunch. She had a grand old time, playing with balloons and entertaining herself by laughing at who knows what. She certainly knows how to have a good time!

The funniest comment of the day must have been when my cousin Katie's Aunt Judy asked Abby, "Are you running for president", because she kept circling around smiling at everyone.

Here are some pictures that were taken after the shower at Aunt Barb and Uncle Jamie's house.

June trip to Auburn

Sorry we have been MIA lately. Our camera broke so we had to buy a new one, which was not compatable with our computer etc. The bottom line is that we are back up & running.

Below are pictures from our visit to Auburn from the end of June.

We went to visit my cousin formerly known as "Amy Jones". We got to see my Aunt Pat and Uncle Bill along with the Heyde clan (Amy and her joyous kids). Here are a few pictures of Abby swimming and playing with Grampa Jones and the Heyde's. Several of the Heyde kids are featured in the hot-tub shot, and my dear cousin Amy is in the last one.

Meet Emma! Below you will see Talitia's adorable three year old daughter! Talitia (my best friend from high school) and I were able to coordinate our visit home. She now lives in Colorado. Here are some pictures from our time spent at Hoopes Park, where Emma & Abby became fast friends. There were lots of hugs between the girls. Abby also did a lot of following Emma around!

We went to the Ward's house for dinner one night and had a great time. The Wards have always been like family to us; they are my parents closest friends. Abby got to go for a ride in Uncle Bob's golf cart, as you can see below.

If you look closely at the picture below you can see where Abby's eyes are changing from blue to green/hazel, like her daddy's eyes.

Lastly, here is a short video of Abby "dancing". She has become quite the dancer these days.....
