Bree and Abby slumber party

Too cute- Bree for the weekend.  The girls had so much fun together and had a sleepover in Abby's bed.  :)

The gardener

Dean is so funny with doing his "work" in the yard.  He loves to get out his "stuff" (i.e., garbage can") and pretend to do yard work.

Abby and Dean's debut at Spanish River

Dean was eager to go on his first day of preschool.  I think Dean thought he was going to stay with Abby though.  UGH-OH.  So, there were several clingy, crying mornings.  He is adjusted now though and loves playing with his buddies.  It is so nice that he is right across the hall from big sis :)

Abby's first day at her big girl school!!  She loves it! :)

Like mother, like daughter?

Tennis anyone?  Is Dean going to play tennis like his mommy did?  ;-)

Dean and his first bud

Dean with his first best buddy Noah or "No-No" as Dean always called him.  Noah and family moved back to Charlotte; we miss them every Tuesday morning! :(

Dean turns three!

Dean's FAVE gift!!!  He LOVES garbage trucks and points them out when we are driving all the time.   He also runs to the window with great focus and speed when he hears the garbage truck come to our house- cracks us up!  Oh- and have I mentioned garbage cans; he is also a big fan! :)

Yes, we are alive

Oh my---the blog has gotten away from me, mostly due to getting a new computer and having kept busy completing online inservice courses to keep up my school psychology state certification. Well--- time to play catch up.  The next several posts will be heavy on the pictures, light in text, so I can actually get up to date!!!  Although bear with me- having trouble figuring out uploading pictures from the MAC computer to the blog for some reason.  The joys of technology!!

Following William's lead

Here are some pictures from a visit from Aunt Tracy, Uncle Kevin and the three kids.  The kids had so much fun in Gaga and Papa's back yard;  it was so funny to watch them all follow big boy William around, trying to do whatever he was doing, and allowing him to set the tone for whatever game they were playing.  Dean is particularly funny like that I am noticing.  In general, I am noticing he tends to gravitate toward the older boys within the group when we are at play-dates.  He is all boy!!

Our little gymnasts

Here are a couple of videos of Dean from my phone. It was killing him not to go into the gym when Abby went for her class, so he joined the two and three year old class, while she attends class with the four and five year olds.  This was on Dean's first day; he loves every minute of class and wears a constant smile on his face while there.  I was amazed at how comfortable he was without mommy right away, and how well he followed along with the group, being so young, and not in school.  As you will see, Deano is quite the daredevil.  Yikes.  Tye thinks he has a little Ted Lucas in him....... His dad was apparently quite the thrill seeker!
