Delightful Dean at six months

Have I mentioned that I love this age? Babies are so juicy and sweet at this age. It is hard to believe that Dean will be seven months old in a week....I feel as though I want to freeze time so many times each day!! Do you think he likes bananas?

So.... Dean tried bananas for the first time the other day. He didn't care much for them, did he? Ha!! I let him get a little carried away..... looks more like he is eating cake on his first birthday than a baby who is learning how to eat different types of baby food ;) So far, he has liked everything I have given him. I am going to enjoy it while I can!!

Living like nomads- Part 2

Since we were homeless, we decided to go visit the family over in Tampa. Actually- we were planning on going over regardless of our displacement ;-). It was great to see everyone, especially Jake and Bree! Here are a bunch of pictures from our visit.

Living like nomads- Part 1

We just moved back from Grandma Susie's place, where we lived with Grandma and Gage for the last month. It was quite a full house; we also had the two dogs there most of the time!!!! (Thanks for everything Grandma & Gage-you made this process bearable for me!) For those who don't know, we "moved" there because we decided to put hard wood floors in our house. Well- this turned into a major home renovation. Since we were having the tile pulled up, we decided we may as well do the bathrooms too. So, one thing has led to another...

Below are some pictures that were prompted by the beginning of Dean scooching around & combat-crawling. Take note-- he is not on his tummy-time mat in the first picture below and we did not put him on the tile!!! ;-) Over the course of the last month, he has gotten fast at his combat-crawl and he also has been rocking back and forth on all fours. Yikes!! Life is changing for us very quickly!!
