Giggle boy

I feel as though Dean is always laughing these days. It is so stinking cute! He laughs in response to some of the most random things.....

1) sneezing, snoring or snorting

2) at swimming, i pretend that the baby doll is swimming under the water, and he becomes hysterical

3) i was singing "happy and you know it" and pretended to stomp his feet; again, he was cracking up

Otherwise, he laughs when the rest of us laugh, and just looking at the dogs or Abby can make him laugh. Check out the video below and catch a glimse of what I am talking about!

Abby goes to preschool

Abby started preschool at "MECE", a Methodist church is east Boca. The first couple days were a bit rough. Abby looked terrified when we dropped her off the first day. She shed a few tears the first two days, but has been great since then, and seems to be adjusting quite nicely. (Please knock on wood!) Looking back, I think the transition may have been rougher on me than Abby!!! Here are a couple of pictures from "meet the teacher" day.

Picking Abby up on her third day- no tears this day!!! Yippee! She is walking with her teacher, Ms. Sharon.

Trip to Indy to see "Grandma Lucille"

Over Labor Day weekend, we went to Fort Wayne. It was good to see everyone including Tye's Uncle Jeff and family, Aunt Tracy and her family, and of course the main reason for the visit, grandma, or "Grandma Lucille", as we have started calling her in our household (to prevent any confusion as it relates to Grandma Susie)! When we got to the hotel, Abby kept on calling the hotel suite Grandma Lucille's house, and asking where she was... It was cute...

Below you can see Abby four-wheeling with her Uncle Kevin. After a bunch of the young boys went for rides, she piped in, "I want to go too". So, off she went without hesitation, smiling and waving, to my surprise. I thought she would be scared!

Here is a group shot of some of the VG cousins with great grandma; you can see my niece Catherine (3 months old!), being held by big brother William.

The next is of Tracy/Kevin and family with Grandma Lucille.

A nice one of Gaga and Papa...

Tye, Abby, Dean and I spent the last day in Indianapolis........ Here are some pictures down by the canal.

Wedding in Auburn

We made another trip up to Auburn in August. My friend Carrie, who I have known since elementary school, got married, so Grandma Susie flew up with me and the kiddos. Dean had another little bday party, we celebrated Gage's birthday, and we spent a lot of time outdoors playing in the beautiful summer weather, including a day trip up to Lake Ontario, to "Fair Haven", which is about 45 minutes away from Auburn. Here is a little video of Dean when we went to Lake Ontario. He sure loves the water, and didn't care that it was freezing cold!! Abby did not want to even put her feet in, as you can see from her hesitance in th above picture :) Can't blame her!!!!

The Wiggles LIVE!

We went down to Miami to watch the Wiggles show, although now Mickey Mouse seems to be Abby's favorite, even to Barney!? Anyways, maybe that is because Abby got scared of the clown who "popped up" at the beginning of the show. From there, we had to watch the show from afar.... We weren't the only ones, as many youngsters were being carried out at the beginning for the same reason! In contrast, her BFF Connelly kept insisting that she wanted to go up on the stage! ha! pretty funny! They strike a good balance ;)
