Trip To Auburn

I took loads pictures of the kids on my phone and camera while up in Auburn. Here are some of the best ones.

The kids are at Herman Avenue playground on the big rock that is STILL there, my former elementary school.



At the state park in Geneva, on Seneca Lake. Such a great spot for a hot day, with the slash pad, lake and a great playground all in one. Beautiful setting too...



Future baseball player? Mommy hopes so, as I have always wanted to have one of my kids to play catch with in the yard!



Feeding the birds at Uncle Danny's house. The kids love to feed the birds and chipmunks there.



At the zoo.... Deano LOVES the zoo and gets so excited about all the animals.



Dean blowing bubbles on the balcony. Serious business as you can see. Ha! He gets so INTO it and loves watching where they land.



Abby's favorite toy up there-- she kept saying "watch my cool trick on my new skateboard". It was too funny.




At a friend's house on the lake....



We made MANY trips to Hoopes Park, where the kids loved feeding the ducks, throwing rocks in the stream and running down the mini-hills.

Kids riding on the raft-July 4th

Look what daddy bought for us to use on the 4th! We went for a late afternoon boat ride with Tia Jennifer and family, and then camped out at Lake Boca for the fireworks shows, with trepidation, as we were not sure how the kids would do. They loved going on the raft and surprisingly did great during the fireworks. Abby actually slept through them; only my girl Abby could sleep through fireworks ;-) Ha! As for Deano, he was in awe of the fireworks. He kept excitedly pointing and uttering his own conversation, of which we could not understand. It was so cute. The fireworks were to the north and south, in Delray and Deerfield respectively, which worked out perfectly; we weren't too close and could view and listen from afar. We had so much fun!
